Fresh, pear-like fruit and vanillin oak run the length of this very direct and fairly frontal wine, and, if its forthright fruitiness and nicely rounded feel make it an easy one to like, it stalls out a bit on the latter palate and its slightly dry finish leaves us wanting for a little more of everything. |
